Rating plate, warning and security labels

We produce specialised products in high quality for challenging applications!

Rating plate labels for durable labelling

We produce high-quality special labels from UL-certified polyester materials for challenging applications. Rating plate labels are used for the permanent marking of equipment, switchboards, cables, computers, car parts, etc. Rating plate labels withstand abrasion, solvents and high temperatures. The labels can also be laminated to provide more protection. They also comply with the RoHS Directive. Pre-printed rating plates are also suitable for printing variable information (e.g., date of manufacture, serial number).

We also offer a wide range of ribbons for rating plate materials.

Security labels protect products against tampering and guarantee their authenticity

Security labels can be used to show that the product or packaging has not been opened, the machine or equipment has not been tampered with, and that the product is genuine and original. The labels include security features, such as easy fracturing upon removal and a ‘VOID’ message that sticks to the product if the label is removed. Security labels can be pre-printed in Informa or you can order blanco labels to print out itself.

Warning labels are an effective way to warn others of potential hazards and risks

We provide our customers with warning labels that comply with all safety regulations. The labels are produced with either paper or a wear-resistant plastic material, and the adhesive is chosen based on the application requirements. The CLP Regulation is the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, which sets out the warning labels and phrases to be used.

Important information

The UL mark is a safety mark. Informa has the right to print the UL Recognized Component logo and to use UL marks on converted roll labels. The mark guarantees the authenticity and safety of the product and that the material is a UL-approved raw material. This means that the product samples have been tested and meet the UL safety requirements. The mark also prevents counterfeiting. It enables tracing the product’s entire transport chain back to its point of origin.

Our collaboration with UL provides us with the latest research, technical solutions and testing services worldwide.

The RoHS Directive (The Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is a European Union regulation that restricts the use of certain harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment. These substances include mercury, cadmium, lead, hexavalent chromium and the flame retardants PBB (polybrominated biphenyls) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers). The Directive has been in force since 1 July 2006.
