Transbox labelling kit for the food industry
In the food industry, labelling Transboxes can often be a slow process. In the dispatching rooms, the boxes are on the conveyor, attached to each other. Each box is marked with a variable address information on two different sides. There may only be a window of about half a second to change the label in the inkjet printer before labelling moves on to the next box. Informa has developed a special labelling package to solve this problem.
What is a Transbox?
Transbox Oy was established in 1994 by retail logistics companies and the food industry to reduce logistics costs and waste. This resulted in a sustainable, economical and uniform range of recyclable and stackable plastic transport boxes, the Transboxes. Transbox Oy coordinates these bos systems.
Transbox Oy rents out meat and prepared food boxes for the cold transport of packaged food in Finland. Businesses can easily join the Transbox system by entering into a lease agreement with Transbox Oy. Rental boxes frees up the supplier’s capital, allowing them to focus on their core expertise.
